Weight Loss

Most physicians today are treating chronic illnesses that are weight related. Weight reduction is often more effective than any other treatment for diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, back, hip, knee pain, and many other conditions.

There have been a growth of medical weight loss clinics nationally, as the demand for these services have greatly increased and many patients are having good success outside of the traditional medical offices.

At DeRosa Medical, we attempt to bring a comprehensive medical approach to our patients; not only addressing their need for weight loss support, but also providing them the much needed medical support addressing their overall health and well-being. We not only want to help you lose weight, but also become your treating physician… supporting you with all your medical needs.

Within our weight loss program, we support your goals through a multi-phase, physician supervised program that works quickly and safely. During those phases, you will learn how to change your eating habits in a safe and healthy way that will be optimal in keeping the weight off! With encouragement, adequate tools and tips, nutrition and fitness education, appropriate goal setting, and state of the art equipment, the DeRosa Medical Weight Management Program has proven to be extremely successful.

There is no faster way to safely lose weight than with the guidance of a supervised weight loss program. In fact, average weight loss is about 21 pounds in 4 weeks. Incredible results like this come from you and your physician working one-on-one to create a plan that’s medically tailored to your body. If you have tried other weight loss programs with little or no success, you know it can be a frustrating and disappointing process. Our program is designed by experts in medicine, nutrition, fitness, motivation, and education. At our office, we develop your weight loss plan based on your goals, current condition, and medical history.

We encourage you and motivate you every step of the way, with the advice and direction you need, to reach your goal weight and transition to a healthier lifestyle. You get the supportive and professional care that you need from DeRosa Medical.

  • Exercise and nutritional counseling

Our team will provide step-by-step assistance as you gradually increase your daily calorie intake and energy expenditure to a comfort level and learn tools and techniques to maintain your new weight.

Phase III: Health & Wellness Phase
